Just down the road from Sandgreen,(within walking distance) is the Cream O Galloway, Gatehouse of Fleet, Luxury award winning Ice Cream and visitors Centre. Well worth a visit.
      A Cycle ride through the Fleet Forest (approx 5 miles) brings you right to the centre of Gatehouse-of-Fleet, where you can get a drink or a meal.

 The Mill on the Fleet  The Mill on the Fleet was built in 1788 as a cotton mill and restored as a visitors centre by Dumfries and Galloway Council in the 1980's.
